Marine life is threatened as per the dangerous consequences of the climate change, result in declines in the population of world’s sharks and rays. The International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN) report reveals that 37% of the world’s sharks and rays are now threatened with extinction primarily due to overfishing, compounded by loss and degradation of habitat and climate change.
